Grant funding for reef expansion
NCTFJ fosters effective management of Jamaica's protected areas by mobilizing financial resources and building partnerships. They awarded RCL a grant in January 2025 to extend coral restoration in the Port Royal Cays, enabling the sinking of derelict vessels as artificial reefs and increased coral propagation.

Founded in 1884 and granted a Royal Charter by Queen Victoria in 1889, RJYC is very active in sailing with races in Kingston Harbour. They generously provide berthing for project boat "Reef'it", saving valuable time, money and effort that goes directly back to the restoration programme.
